Kangana Ranaut And Sister Rangoli Chandel Receive A Summon After FIR Lodged Against Them On Charges Of Sedition - Reports

Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel seem to have landed in another legal soup. Reportedly, an FIR has been registered against them in Bandra police station. It was recently that an FIR was registered against the Ranaut siblings by a casting director named Munawwar Ali Sayyed. The complaint has been reportedly filed under section 124A of the Indian Penal Code which is for sedition. Now, as per news agency, ANI, Kangana and Rangoli have been summoned next week for questioning.

The Mumbai Police have called the sisters on October 26 and 27 for questioning. The complainant  Munawwar Ali Sayyed has accused the two sisters of allegedly spreading communal hate and also saying that they have been defaming Bollywood for the last two months on the basis of tweets and interviews done. Kangana, post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, has been sharing her views on nepotism, favouritism and more prevailing in Bollywood. The complainant's lawyer Jaydeo Y Ghule said, "Her sister, too, has made objectionable comments on social media to spread communal tension between two religious groups," as reported by ANI.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is currently in Manali, enjoying the wedding festivities of her brothers Karan and Aksht. She had recently shared a video from the haldi ceremony of her brother Karan. Today, she shared a video of her brother getting married. She shared it with caption, "करण और अंजली को आशीर्वाद दें, आज हमारे घर बेटी आयी है मगर जब मैं अंजली के माता पिता के बारे में सोचती हूँ तो दिल भारी हो जाता है, आज उनका घर सूना होगा, उन्होंने अपने दिल का एक हिस्सा काट कर हमें दे दिया, आज उनकी बेटी का कमरा ख़ाली हो गया होगा, कन्यादान से बढ़कर कोई दान न."
